Impianto Audio x Basecamp2026

BaseCamp Library has a new sound system, designed and built from scratch in Ticino by local designers @dario_erkelens and @darioaguet.
The BaseCamp Audio System stems from the idea of transforming a technical installation into a piece of furniture capable of interacting with the festival space. Designed specifically for BaseCamp, the system is modular, transportable and easy to maintain, while ensuring a balanced and defined sound for both music playback and film projection.
The system comprises two three-way stereo loudspeakers, each built around a subwoofer, a mid-range driver and a horn-loaded tweeter. Every element is carefully sized according to the specific acoustic requirements of the individual transducers, combining technical performance with a considered, functional design.
The speaker cabinets are made from MDF to ensure rigidity and acoustic quality, while numerous components are produced using 3D printing.
A locally designed and locally made sound system, created to become part of the space for many years.
